Escalating Tensions on Indo-Myanmar Border: Chinland Defence Force Seizes Myanmar Army Camp, Retaliatory Strikes Increase Refugee Influx into Mizoram

Update Now, 12 November: Tensions along the Indo-Myanmar border have intensified following clashes between the Myanmar Army and the Chinland Defence Force (CDF) near the Mizoram border. CDF reportedly seized control of the Myanmar Army camp in Rihkhawdar Village, located a mere 4 kilometers from Zokhawthar, Mizoram. In retaliation, a Myanmar Army jet fighter dropped a bomb twice this morning.
The repercussions have been swift, with over 700 refugees crossing the border into Mizoram since the onset of hostilities. Reports indicate that 17 individuals, including women and minors, sustained injuries from the bombing and gunfire. They have been transported to Mizoram for medical treatment, with some cases requiring referral to the District Hospital in Champhai. The situation remains tense as the border region grapples with the fallout of the ongoing conflict. (With inputs)
